On Tuesday 13 January, Dots welcomes back two of our absolute favourites — Elliot Schooling and Liam Palmer for a special midweek session, following a previous appearance that quite literally blew the roof off the room. Best known as the founders and curators behind Appetite, one of the UK’s most respected underground festival and event brands, Liam and Elliot have built their reputation on community-first dance floors, forward-thinking lineups, and a deep respect for the culture of house music. What began as a small London party has grown into a globally recognised platform, hosting festivals and events that consistently champion both emerging and established talent, always with integrity at the core. Behind the decks, Elliot and Liam bring that same curatorial mindset. Their sound sits at the intersection of deep house, minimal, and groove-led club music, guided by patience, intuition, and an exceptional understanding of flow. They are selectors who trust the long game building energy gradually, locking dancers into rhythm, and allowing moments to arrive naturally rather than forcing them. What makes their sets so impactful is the chemistry between them. Years of playing together have created a shared musical language that feels effortless yet precise. They know when to push, when to pull back, and how to read a room collectively resulting in sets that feel cohesive, dynamic, and deeply immersive. Their connection to Dots runs deeper than a single booking. They are part of the extended family, and every return feels like a continuation rather than a repeat. After the response to their last session here, having them back felt not just right but necessary. Opening the night is Nigel Perera from Jambutek, one of Sri Lanka’s most respected and consistent selectors. Known for his refined taste and deep understanding of the local dance floor, Nigel sets the tone with warm grooves and carefully paced selections, making him the perfect guide into the night.
