Scala Muziek returns to the bay at Dots for a special night as we open up the new space and put the upgraded sound system to the test deeper, warmer and built for long, immersive dance floor journeys.
At the heart of the night are two artists who have each shaped their respective scenes. Pascal Benjamin, founder of Scala Muziek, is one of Amsterdam’s most respected underground selectors, known for his refined, groove-driven sound and releases across labels such as SlapFunk, Yoyaku and Eastenderz. His sets are precise, musical and deeply connected to the dance floor, built on years at the centre of Europe’s underground movement.
Joining him is Sam Bangura, co-founder of NorthSouth Records and a defining voice in the UK underground. Emerging from London’s Half Baked scene, Sam is known for deep, hypnotic selections and rolling rhythms that evolve patiently, drawing dancers into a focused and immersive groove.
