Dots presents The Pretty Littles (AUS) & Clifford Issac (LK)

On Tuesday 24th March, Dots shifts gears for a special live night with Melbourne’s own The Pretty Littles.

It goes without saying that Australia produces incredible bands. But not all of them sound Australian. The Pretty Littles do — and proudly so. With unfiltered accents, razor-sharp storytelling and a beautifully chaotic brand of garage rock, they’ve built a reputation for songs that feel both disorderly and deeply sincere.

Formed in Melbourne and releasing music since 2011, the four-piece — Jack, Sam, Liam and J — have carved out a cult following through relentless touring and a string of records including Force and a catalogue that now spans seven albums. Their sound pulls from classic Aussie pub rock, garage punk grit and even shades of early British protest songwriting — but it never feels retro. It feels real.

In recent years, the band has leaned even further into their identity: louder, tighter and more emotionally exposed. Their live shows are known for being raw, cathartic and unexpectedly tender — one-two-screw-you riffs colliding with lyrics so honest they almost feel uncomfortable. They don’t posture. They don’t over-polish. They just tell the truth — messy, self-aware and loud.

Life is strange. We mess up. We overthink. We say the wrong thing.
The Pretty Littles somehow turn all of that into an anthem.

Supporting the night, one of Colombo’s finest, Clifford Issac shapes the energy around the live performance with a groove-led selection of house and disco, bookending the band’s set with warmth, rhythm and dancefloor flow. Expect a seamless transition from live guitars to late-night movement — sweat, smiles and everything in between.

A different kind of Tuesday.
Live music. Real lyrics. Proper atmosphere.

See you in the front row.
